ISTE (The Indian Society for Technical Education) is a national, professional, non-profit society established in 1968 to advance the development of technical education in India. ISTE GRIET SB is the ISTE affiliated student body in my college. This student body organizes a yearly college festival known as the “ISTE Mela”. Mela is a Sanskrit word which means 'a gathering' or 'a meeting'.

I worked on the 2018 edition of the ISTE Mela as the Design Lead. As ISTE Mela encompases both cultural and technical events, I decided to incorporate bold typefaces and bright colors into all of the branding material. I used both cooler and warmer colors to balance the overall tone and also to indicate the Technical (cooler colors) and Cultural (warmer colors) aspects of this festival.
